Failsworth School have yet again been recognised in winning this exclusive award for the ongoing commitment of the school using sport as a tool to raise whole school standards.

Linking the specialism with English and Maths on a world class mission to be the best, allowed our pupils to experience a challenging and engaging curriculum with a difference.

We have adopted a sporting ethos to help us improve relationships with pupils by adopting a house system using Olympic cities as titles and embedding the Olympic and Paralympic values into our everyday practice.

As a result of the ongoing innovative practice PGL have awarded the school with a residential holiday for a group of pupils and once again we sit as one of the cutting edge specialist schools in the country.
