Our Vision
Failsworth School is at the heart of the community and we are privileged to be able to offer excellent facilities to our pupils, families and local residents. Extracurricular activities are offered in the main school building, at Failsworth Sports Centre and also at Failsworth Soccer Centre that support, enrich and extend our pupils learning. We continue to work hard in developing positive relationships with key partners and offer a range of services and initiatives to the community.

Enrich and Extend the Curriculum
- After school Youth Club run by Oldham Integrated Youth Service
- Inclusive sport sessions at lunchtime for all pupils
- Wrestling provision during curriculum time and after school
- Curriculum support from key community partners
- Whole school extracurricular programme every Thursday
Supporting Children & Families
- Police drop in surgeries every Tuesday Lunchtime
- Youth workers in school to build relationships with pupils and offer guidance
- Brook sexual health surgeries every Thursday
- Smoking cessation sessions for pupils
- Family cooking courses each term that run after school
- Primary School activities
Community Access and Adult Learning
- A programme of adult learning and community activities
- Facilities available to use for the community
- Man City Youth Academy traininng sessions
Child Care - Assisting Failsworth Parents
- Work with Failsworth Children's Centre to promote services
- Strategic work on a Failsworth 0-19 extended services plan
- Parent consultations
- Child care facilities provided during all holiday prorammes
