Major Successes in 2011

• Awarded 'Outstanding' by OFSTED for partnership work (2010)  
• Organisation of the first Failsworth inter-school council meeting 
• Increased attendance during the Summer and October half term holiday clubs 
• Delivery of the first “Raising Your Game” year 6 learning programme 
• Awarded Emerged status for the Quality in Study Support mark 
• Delivery of an educational Wildlife Club and development of a school garden 
• Increased community partners using school facilities including Failsworth Netball Club, North Manchester Lakers and local football teams  
• Delivery of the Failsworth Community Placement Project 
• Launch of the Friday Night Footy League for young people 
• Organisation of the first Failsworth community Car Boot Sales for over four years 
• Supported Failsworth Netball Club in securing £2000 of funding
