Required for April 2013
Failsworth School wishes to appoint a professional and highly skilled ICT technician to assist
the Network Manager and IT Leader with the day-to-day running of the school’s ICT equipment. The
main tasks include the running of the IT Helpdesk as well as maintenance and installation of
hardware and software. Knowledge of networking in a Windows 2003/2008 server environment would be
an advantage.
Staff development activities are encouraged for all post holders and all individuals are
expected to seek personal and professional development, share skills and proactively support
individual and effective team working. A vibrant, positive, professional culture, built on strong
working relationships is seen as central to our success as we grow our links with the Failsworth
Learning partnership, primary schools in the area and the development of the Cooperative Trust.
