Integrated and Extended Services

We believe that Failsworth School is “outward facing”. We are at the heart of our community and are proud to offer excellent facilities to our pupils, families and local residents. After school activities are offered in the main school building, at Failsworth Sports Centre and also at Failsworth Soccer Centre. These extra opportunities provide even more chances to learn, enjoy and achieve. We have lots of great relationships with partners such as the Police, NHS, Girl Guides and Oldham Council and provide many additional services to the community alongside the national curriculum for our pupils.

More Learning Opportunities 

• After school youth clubs and projects  
• Sport sessions at lunchtime and after school for all pupils  
• Support from partners including Oldham Youth Service, MCFC and the NHS 
• Exciting programmes including gardening clubs and football projects 

 Support Families

• Police support for pupils, teachers and families throughout the week  
• Youth workers in school  
• Primary School activities  

Community Access and Adult Learning 

• Community activities every Tuesday evening 
• Community events including training days and celebration dances 
• Home to MCFC Youth Academy, Oldham Sports Development and OAFC sport training sessions  
• Work on the District Partnership and Area Action Team groups

• Community Sports Clubs 
• Friday Night Footy League 
• Holiday and Breakfast Clubs
