Community Sport

Failsworth School has a long history of sporting excellence. We deliver a huge range of sports across the entire complex during the school day, in the evening and at the weekend. As a specialist sports college, sporting provision for our pupils is core to our work, but we also play a key role in delivering services and offering facilities for the entire community.  

The site is home to a large number of local football teams and the indoor facilities we offer are used by cricket teams, dance groups, netball clubs and many more. The grass football pitches at Failsworth Soccer Centre are recognised as some of the best in the area and play host to the Manchester Youth and Mini Soccer League. We have shared use of Failsworth Sports Centre and with this Failsworth School is part of a major sport and leisure complex.
